  • Cyber Switching Energy Management Dashboard (EMD) Takes Monitoring Up to the Cloud

In a strategic move to accommodate future networking requirements in the Power Management/Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) space, Cyber Switching has announced the completion of the Energy Management Dashboard (EMD).  The system is designed to truly give an eyes-on-glass view of the electrical system and usage of an entire facility down to the individual circuit.

The dilemma of increasing need for managing electricity & EV charging along with maxed-out electrical infrastructure is leaving companies – from architects and property owners to facility managers and fleet owners – looking to industry leaders to come up with creative solutions.

Cyber Switching has done just that!  The EMD’s successful deployment reports data with meter-grade accuracy and manages power for the entire building including all devices, machinery, and electric vehicle charging stations.

“Every day we get inquiries from building owners wanting to know how to accurately capture data, pinpoint waste, and get alerts for possible equipment failures,” commented CEO Chuck Reynolds,
“and I tell them it’s as easy as clicking the mouse for 24/7 information.”   The EMD platform consolidates data from every connected Cyber Switching metering device and puts that effective energy knowledge right into the hands of decision-makers.  The monitoring and managing of power consumption networked to a cloud-based system puts building owners ahead of the curve and answers pertinent questions about load type, usage trends, and tenant billing concerns.

Along with the Energy Management Dashboard, EV fleet owners are thrilled to have even more control over the power charging up their fleets.  “Cyber Switching provides comprehensive support and capabilities to fleets with the Electric Vehicle Master Controller (EVMC),” explains Ron Silorio, CTO, “by implementing the EVMC into on-site EV charging station arrays, we’ve been able to quadruple the number of vehicles charging on fewer circuits.”  The EVMC coupled with the EMD makes for a complete, robust and practical solution for managing electrical power.
